Have you considered a working holiday in New Zealand?
Probably the best kept secret in the industry is the IEP Exchange Visa that is available to Brits aged 18 – 35. Yes, thirty five!
Most conditions are in line with the regular working holiday visa (12 months stay etc) and it is an option even if you’ve already had a working holiday to NZ. What’s the catch? Well, as far as we can tell, there are two:
- The visa is a specific “programme” visa which has been developed to complement the support services operated by work and travel experts IEP. If you want to get the visa, you’ll need to subscribe to the support package which is sold through BUNAC. However, don’t underestimate value and quality of the support. You’ll get help with the visa, options on flights and insurance and also loads of support once you arrive. You may not need it all but it could be a small price to pay to get an unexpected year in NZ.
- The other catch is that there’s an annual limit to the number of visas that will be issued. We have it on good authority that there are plenty available at the moment, but it may be a different story in a few months time.
For more information check out BUNAC’s website.
Hopefully our next post will be about the IEC!
